Why didn't I get a summary for some video?
worthwatch summarizes new videos and Shorts from the channels you follow. Livestreams are skipped, and videos uploaded before you started following a channel aren't back-filled.
Do I need to install anything?
No. worthwatch lives entirely inside Telegram. If you already have Telegram, you're ready — just open the bot.
Is this safe for my YouTube account?
Yes. We ask for read-only access (
youtube.readonly) to your subscription list only. The bot can't post, like, comment, subscribe, or delete anything.Do I have to connect my Google account?
No. You can follow channels by pasting their links and get the same 5 free summaries a day without ever connecting Google. Connecting is optional — it only makes setup easier by importing your whole YouTube subscription list in one tap (read-only). It doesn't unlock more summaries.
What do you do with my data?
Your summaries are generated on demand and delivered to your Telegram chat. Your Google connection is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and there are no ads, no data brokers, and no model training on your data.
How much does it cost?
The Free tier covers 10 channels and 5 summaries a day. Premium adds 150 channels, 15 summaries a day, deep in-depth summaries (5/day), timezone-aware quiet hours, and a video-length filter — for 250 ★ a month via Telegram Stars (no card needed), or $3.99 a month with a card on Patreon.
How do I pay — do I need a card?
The app is free to use, with some Premium features you can pay for. You have two options: pay with Telegram Stars (★) right inside Telegram — no bank card needed — or subscribe with a card on Patreon (it's cheaper). If you pay via Patreon, email us afterwards at support@worthwatch.app from your Patreon email (or with your Patreon username) and we'll activate Premium for you manually. Cancel anytime.
Can I quiet it down or delete my data?
Yes. Set quiet hours so nothing pings at night, disconnect anytime with
/disconnect, or erase everything with /delete_my_data.Support us
