worthwatch ("the Service") is a Telegram bot that delivers AI-generated summaries of new videos from a user's own YouTube subscriptions. The Service is operated as a free, closed beta. There is no paid tier, no advertising, and no commercial offering at this time.
You may use the Service only if you are at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction). By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are a resident of the Russian Federation, you also acknowledge the 152-FZ note in our Privacy Policy and accept that the Service may not satisfy local data-localisation law.
To use the Service you must complete the Google OAuth flow inside Telegram. By doing so you grant the Service permission to read your YouTube subscription list under the youtube.readonly scope. You may revoke that permission at any time via /disconnect or /delete_my_data in Telegram, or directly at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to rate-limit, suspend, or remove access for any account that violates these terms or that places undue load on the Service. We will notify you in Telegram before enforcement when practical.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of summaries, completeness of subscription detection, or uninterrupted availability. AI-generated summaries may contain errors, omissions, or hallucinations; you should not rely on them as a substitute for watching the source video for any decision of consequence.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of the Service will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. The Service is free; the operator's aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed zero.
The Service depends on Google (YouTube Data API, OAuth), Telegram (messaging), Anthropic (AI summarisation), and Oracle Cloud (hosting). Outages, policy changes, or quota limits at any of these third parties may interrupt or terminate the Service without notice. We are not responsible for third-party actions or for changes to third-party terms of service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. The operator may terminate or suspend the Service, in whole or for individual accounts, at any time and without notice — for example to comply with a third-party policy change, to discontinue the beta, or to enforce the acceptable-use clause. On termination, the deletion provisions of the Privacy Policy apply.
The Service operates as a free closed beta and does not designate a governing law or exclusive jurisdiction at this time. A specific governing-law clause will be published before the Service exits beta and begins commercial operation.
If we make material changes to these terms we will publish the new version at this URL and notify active users in Telegram at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document tracks the most recent revision.
